Hi untill i can sort out my sonar angel eyes I'm looking to tint my headlights. I've seen this done on here by removing the glass of the headlight ect ect I dont what to do that as I'm not confident enough so I'm just wondering if anyone has used the spray tints that are avaible? and applyed it to the outside of the headlight?

You can put the headlights in the oven for a minute but not too hot, that will soften the mould to hold the headlight cover on. Then use spray tint to spray the inside of the head light to tint the inside of the headlight.

To tint the outside of the headlight covers, you need to clean the cover and then use spray tint.

so the tint will hold to the glass then on the outside.

no dont use the stuff you spray on the outside of te glass that stuff is useless

get the tint film stuff like a big sticker

yer that dude down at the dub meets wth the lupo has that & it does look pretty good

Anyone fancy posting a few pics of this sort of thing once done cos i am fancying doing that to mine- bit more of a modern look

Try an company called lamin-x. They do a wide range of different tinting films.... But i cant see it being very legal if its going on your headlights.

Tinting sprays are awful to get off. But this will just peel off.

MMMMMMM I'm debating weather to give it ago now or not. But as said though it will only be temp if i do give it ago untill i can sort out my angel eyes.

Thanks mate but as said above I'm not willing to give this way a try. BTW great work with tinting your lights.

tinting the outside of your headlights isnt legal and you probably will get pulled. My car passed its MOT with tinted headlights (glass removed and sprayed inside) but apparently the police can still be abit picky!

Seems like more hassel then its worth realy. Anyone had to change the sonar angel eye lights wireing?
