I've got a rusty bonnet on the crashbot now, only because i had to get rid of rather amusing and pretty gay bonnet affair young stevie painted on there the nearest and laziest tool i could find was an angle grinder with a flapping wheel thing

shabs and walsh speak the truth, new skool cars could be classed as new rat just unloved cars on the outside but cherished mechanically. you gota rep your dents and dings and holes and stuff but theres no need to try and pigeonhole yourself into a label.

i dont even know where this stoned rambling is on about anyway but i remember seeing a green laguna go past at some lights ni manc on space saver steels, every single panel smashed and dented to fook, sprays cans in yellow down the side and i didnt think wow rat look, i thought fuck what a shitter

i was having a read last night, theres some absolutely comical bags of fail tho! but i love looking at shitters haha, they used to have a spotted section on the top gear site and mag of absolutely pap pieces of automotive engineering.

18 foot spoilers and wood bodykits came to mind

Thats the only true rat watercooled iv seen....but i didnt have a picture of it

there was a green caddy low rider as well that was no doubt a proper water cooled rat, again not over done with the tat, just a few nice touches to see it along

But its all down to natural patina, which is the reason that modern cars cant pull it off.....they have to try, theres no way its natural rust after only 3 years!

actually some how Rolo keeps pulling it off too, even his mk3 golf managed it, but he doesn't seem to stick to the 'rules' of forced rat, he just makes his own

I dont get some of these cars my polo is in worse condition then some of these and I'm trying to get mine mint while people with nicer cars are poring nitromores on there cars owell the way of the world i suspose i mean if you just pulled the car out of a hedge then fair doos but why take a perectly nice car then poor paint stripper on it?

not really sure how they can be individual when there just doing the same as every one else in that scene tbh, there no more individual than some one sticking tiny wide wheels and coilies on there euro style cars

as with all styles the only cars that really stand out are the ones with real thought and imagination put into them, you can chuck 10k at a euro look car but it will still blend in at shows without some imagination put into it.

I don't think that Mk4 with mushroom bonnet is even trying to be rat look.

i'm pritty sure its not mate, i remember the thread on here when he did it, i think it was just a pissing about with his spare bonnet while he had his sorted iirc, i was more trying to make the point that who ever posted it was under the impression that that and the others were rat look
