Well, finally picked her up on Fri 8th May from Poole. :-D

Really pleased and loving everything about the car!

Understandably, money is gonna be a little tight for a while but may look at some plans in the future.

I haven't had the chance to take too many photo's as yet but will give her a real good clean soon and take some.

I popped along to a MK2 Golf show at Great Billing on Sunday to meet up with my boyf and quite a few people were taking photos, so here are some!

Slam it and get the roof black, some nice alloys...job done IMO.

But thats me, its nice just as it is...love the colour 2! I remember when everyone hated white cars....now they're the new black!

Nightmare to stay clean....I gave her a good clean yesterday and the white is blinding when the suns out :-D

It has rained right through the night and most of the day so far so I daren't take her anywhere until the roads are dry again. she's been cleaned 3 times in 7 days already!

Quite an upgrade, did the accident not affect your insurance too much?

The accident wasn't my fault, so no it didn't affect my policy. I had to initially cough up the £350 excess but that has been recovered from the 3rd party now - so all good!

My current policy doesn't run out for another 5/6 weeks so i've just swapped this car onto it. The remaining balance obviously went up a bit but i'll search around for cheaper when I renew. Prices I have searched for so far have only gone up by around £50 a year (from around £350 to £400 ish) which is a lot lower than i thought!

Spent 6/7 hours cleaning her yesterday. Used autoglym shampoo (twice), thorough wheel wash, chamois dried. Then used Megs clay block and Megs quick detail over the entire car which took a lot of time and elbow grease! After that, Megs wax for a nice finish.

The difference in paint smoothness is really impressive from using the clay and she's gleaming. Pretty blinding in the sunlight too!

Got the reg-plate holders on as a nice little touch using extra-strong velcro....they aint going anywhere!! The stubby aerial is in the post from US so shouldn't be much longer.

That's probably going to be it for spending for a little while. But I will get saving up again towards the end of show season for some coilies next year and possibly a set of wheels :-D
