Ok guys seen some xenon bulbs for side lights and headlights 5000k ice White! Any good? they claim to be a straight swap for old bulbs and are 6.99 plus 2.99 p&p for the whole set!

I dont imagine they are anything like HID's....but i dont know, never used them

don't hids need a conversion? And aren't they pretty pricey??

Those will be supposibly xenon gas filled bulbs, however many just have a blue coating on the glass. Id save your money if I was you.

I take quite alot of these out of customers cars that come for the real deal, I usually send them out to people like yourself for them to see what they think without buying them, however I dont have any at the moment.

How much are yours? Ian just looking for brighter lights as stock ones are shite! Lol

I've got some like them. There white with a bluey tint, but there nothing like HID's. PM me if you want em, cheap as....

you defo need H.I.Ds, the ones your intrested in are a pile off rubbish. If you want the new car look then you will certainly need to consider installing H.I.Ds, i would say go for 6000-bright white light, or 8000k for a blue light. I've got 30,000k and they are pinky purple

Also you can get a kit of ebay for about £45-50

they're reallynot worth the money, many people presume I'm just saying that so you buy an HID from me. However they're wrong, I'd rather you buy an HID from anywhere than waste money on these types of bulbs.

You spend £10 on those then dont like them or see no difference and then buy an HID so all in all you spend £10 more.

this is very true mate i have thought about it and I'm going to wait until i can afford the hids also gonna get some 8v fogs can you do bulbs for them too?

I got some OSRAM ones off the bay for about £12 the pair and they are very nice and white!

A. Do they improve your driving visability

B. What does H#'s mean?

tbh honest, i rarely drive at night... but

A) they are most definatly brighter! when i park up in the evenings infront of a wall the light is definatly whiter and clearer!

B) H# refers to the bulb fitting, ie the holder it goes into... not 100% but i think polo is H4?

also, there is a guide on here to cleaning our your lamps... also worth it!
