just got back from the garage, went to get my jack out and started pissing it down, thunder, lighting the whole lot. so got to wait now till i can put them on, i will get some pictures up soon as i get them on

price was £250, dont no it that was good or not, but they had their own colour that they mix themselves they said, and i just loved the color. the guy had the same colour on his wheels and i loved it.

£40 a wheel for shot blasting and powder coating round my way.

love the wheels, love the colour

You gotta love grey wheels

i proberly have been charged a lot, but I'm really happy with the result. i have been to them before to powder coat my bmx frame and they did a really good job so i knew they would do a good job on these. so not to bothered about the price as long as they did a good job which they did, so I'm very happy.

next plan for the car is lower, cant afford coilovers right n

ow, so ordered some springs for now, 40mm all round.

looks good man, but how high!?

slam yo!

£250 to have all four done, considering that they are split rims, is a top price! Good workmanship too judging by the pictures.

I can't believe my GTi used to be that high too!

i knew the high comments was gonna come, only had the car a month wanted to sort the wheels out first as they were in a bad way really. now thats done i can start my other plans, first is lower, getting springs 40mm all round until i can afford coilovers.

thanks for the comments

gorgeous ;) get it lowwww.

Sorry! What you'll get is all of us saying, "get it lower", then you'll lower it and people will still say "get it lower"

They're not happy unless your driveshafts are rubbing!

looks good dude i decked my polo and it was that low because off this lot eggin me on haha then i end up weldin my chasie legs up and destroyin my sump replaced track rod ends and needs a steerin rack now haha but luckly its off the road now

anyways wheels look PIMP

i just got my brothers alloys done, first i sanded down the rough curbing then i sent them to the shotblaster (£5 a wheel!) then i got them powdercoated white (£25 a wheel!) but i got £25 knocked off as I'm getting another set done :D

what would be the point in getting lowering springs, then getting coilies?

especially if youre gonna pay a garage to do them, works out not far off the price of coilies!

may aswell just leave it as it is and just get coilies......40mm aint gonna look much different imo.

wheels look sweet tho dude :)

Wheels look awesome!
