2006 '06 plate,

28,000 miles,

Main Dealer service history,

Tax until Jan 2010,

12 months mot,

only mods are:

stage 1 remap (approx 200bhp)

forge splitter valve,

it's had a brand new turbo at roughly 22k,

cambelt and water pump have been changed since,

all done by my local main vw dealer

why did it require a new turbo so early on?

i'm not exactly mechanically minded mate but i was told by VW that a stud broke off and damaged the manifold, which aparantly is part of the turbo?
