Got a few things ordered for it , Smoked Side indicators, Might get a Standard Grill, JBL GTO 4 Channel Amp (second hand £30) and possibly a 10" JBL sub by the end of this week, then i get get the False Floor made

yeah i got a false floor in mine, got two 12" subs and getting some 6x9s soon, how you gunna do the boot build?

It has to be spacious for 3 sets of golf clubs, (they do fit we tested) :p

MDF, cut to boot shape and easy to remove if needed

Was thinking of mounting the sub in the centre,where the spare wheel is, (but it will be removed)

Then the amp on one of the side,

Will Also counter sink them both

Will get Dynamat also for under all this, and then carpet it all (Where do i get MK3 Polo Carpet from?)

Reverted to Standard grill rather than debadged

putting the subs at the back where it slants down with the amp in the spare wheel hold under perspex.

I'm still gunna be running the 2 front seats, just took them out to re-carpet it all

Ahh Nice, one, where do you get standard MK3 Carpets from ?

when i actually get round to doing it ill just see whos breaking up any MK3's at that time or theres a breakers yard near me, prob the best best or you could just get a brand new carpet and do it yourself.

then i'll get just a roll of carpet for the false floor, wont be too hard to do that and the sub boxes

Hes a Genius, Thats exactly how i want it, except, Mine will be tackier, and not have the laser cut grill, although its possible in school but CBA, ill just buy one :p

How it looks fromt today also minus Front Bumper, (getting new one tomorrow) and back bumper ready for drilled for earth,

Front seats are out, Passengers side where power cable goes is finished just waiting on finishing the drivers side, need some screws to screw the sill back in :p

then going to tidy the carpet up and do the remote cable

Just earth it to where the rear seats bolt to, works fine Looking good aswell mate :)

Nahh take the bumepr off, then drill a hole in the bodywork, and earth it through there, tried getting something from the seats but no luck, So doing this, its fairly easy,

Not been fun this week at all, the amp is wired in except for the remote cable need lenghtning, therefore the cable is off from teh battery to prevent it going dead,

So this week, it didnt want to turn over, we originally though the battery was dead, tried jumping it - no luck, tried cgarging the battery externally - no luck

So we got a new battery still no go - My uncle who is a mechanic then set about testing more things to do with the electrics as tahts what it was :@,

He tested teh alternator and that TOO was gone, so replaced that, it didnt go :(

I then went home and he set about testing the wiring loom and fuses, afterEVERY fuse replaced and the whole wiring loom checked we found that it may have been short circuiting around teh brake lights so he played around tehre, and it worked, That was a full day gone to waste :@

have you got a subwoofer atm?

I've got those 2 12" ones but I'm thinking i may just have one, sell the other and upgrade the dash speakers.

I'm having trouble doing my boot build atm ha, its just such a ball ache that the rear bit is angled, i was going to just screw the front panel with the sub in, but after some research, its gunna sound alot better in a box, just nothing is straight in that car for me to put the box up against lol.

this is my first project and I'm learning alot about any future projects i do lol, mainly planning before

and yeah I've got some ordered, 2 10" JBL subs, although I'm going to be using one, I'm awaiting for suppliers to get them in stock and then shipped to me :)
