Vw dont sell the clips anymore because in the words of my local vw dealer 'they're shit and never worked', they're part numbers now say use 4mm rivets.

this makes no sense, how can pop rivets not work? they work perfect on a mk3, and getting them off is a hard job. They have always been black pop rivets

and they are still available from VW
