Been thinking about this for a while , and got cracking tonight , doing it on the spare to start, undecied on the colours yet , but think i know what I'm going to do..

using wire wool to take the black and red paint off, is there a quicker way like paint stripper ? or is it not wise on alloys?

ahh , well the tyre on that wheel is shit and going to come off...... might have to have the others taken off tho =/

just mask the tyres up, or get them taken off. nitromors is defiantly the best and quickest option

i found it was shite and didnt work that well

i used nitromores on one of my RA's took me ages to get all the paint out of the little holes and stuff. I reckon take the tyres and send em to be shot blasted much easer

i have a shot blast thing for my compesser, migth give it a go tomorrow , or it is best to nitromores first then shotblast?

i would just got staight for the shot blaster see if it can do it. make sure you dont use a to corse grit tho you dont want to be putting indents into you alloy

slight up date had a go with the shotblaster today , but ran out of the stuff so just ordered 25kg more, and might be getting a shot blast cabinet to do it proper :)

I found that shotblasting the alloys i refurbished was better than using

Nitromors or Synstrip....but i have 2 big industrial shotblasters and

it only takes 5mins to do two wheels....

I call them....
