Polo 1.6 16v GTI bottom end

Featured Replies

I have aquired a 1.6 GTI bottom end, all is fine except pistons 1 and 4 require replacing due to valves hitting the crowns which are scored slightly...LUCKILY for the buyer I have a spare set of pistons and conrods for replacement.

Has covered 68k (my old engine).

If you were to buy this, i reccomend a rebuild anyway! perfect for those wanting to get more BHP from their 1.4 16v AFH engines.

I am after £200 ONO. please...these are hard to come by on their own and this is a complete unit along with replacement pistons.

I have pics to come. 8-)

COLLECTION FROM NORTHAMPTON, M1 J15 OR NEARBY.

to add to the above. this bottom end will give you atleast 35-40bhp increase taking your AFH beyond a normal GTI 1.6's power output, a remap might be in order as well.
