another petition

Featured Replies

just spotted this on the scirocco register click me and after reading some of the replies in the thread on here about the scrappage scheme i thought some of you might be interested in it.

i know its just another petition that's just gonna get ignored by the ignorant thieving bastards in power, but if you've got a couple of mins with nothing to do stick your name on it, miracles can happen

EDIT: might be worth spreading it around the other car forums too

Its doubtful they will hear us out, as they never do, but atleast be good to let them know our feelings.

It's unlikely they will re-introduce it though, as its a source of revenue and lets be honest, if they could tax you for breathing they would.

You might aswell piss into high winds :-(

I utterly believe this petition will fail, because this corrupt socialist government is more interested in international appeasement than looking after the interests of what used to be called 'Great Britain' under the previous government, but simply 'Britain' by these europeans.

Worse still,it was actually Gordon Brown himself who scrapped the rolling exemption date - in fact,it was the first move he made, back in 1997,when he was posted as chancellor.

It may not be a terminal failure though - the next government might be listening, and so i believe it's worth taking the two minutes i just have,to sign it.

It was the case that the The Conservative Party was going to re-instate the 25 year rolling policy. not too sure if they are still going to do it..

that may change now tho considering the mess they are going to be inheriting :-(

oh well we can live in hope, Davids gotta find some way to get the drivers of this country on side

So true

agree with above.

At the moment the government are (kind of) paying for people to scrap perfectly good 'old' cars. They arn't going to all of a sudden make it easier and cheaper to own the same vehicles they are trying to get rid of.

Be much better if you signed this one:

your right, this shower of shite ain't gonna bring it in, but there's a chance (albeit a very very slight one) that the conservative could bring it in when they get in power. gonna be worth the 30 sec's it takes any way, what else could you do i that time?
