76k on engine but only trouble is the gearbox has gone.. Sad

now gotta decide what to do with it.. have been wanting a donor 16v engine to pop the my peach polo with some bike carbs or do i go with a new project with this obviously involving bike carbs? hmmmm time for some thinking..

Find a gearbox and fit it. Sort the rust and cracks and paint it matt purple with an orange roof and have a mix and match pair!!

Yeah i realise that it was more of a stupid suggestion. Would look cool though :-)

My thinking is take all the bits from the 16V you want. Break the rest to help you fund a gearbox and carbs etc and then build the engine and wang it in the peachy one :-)

thats the way I'm swaying i think... probably smooth out the bay aswell..... another respray and bobs me uncle a nice project for the cold winter months...
