First Car - ICE - Some beginners advice

right - this is my plan -

get some Alpine SPS-171A £89.99

with one of these headunits:

Kenwood KDC-W313G £59.49

Kenwood KDC-W3544W £69.99

Kenwood KDC-W4044UG £79.99

JVC KD-R302 £64.99

If anyone has any comments about how good these actually are then feel free to let me know - i've only ever heard good things about Kenwood for their products around £75, same with JVC

If anyone can find me a better set of component speakers and a head unit for less than £175 (together) let me know.

*budget for speakers - about £100

*budget for headunit - about £75

(obviously give and take on each item)

If there is another set up i might be better off with (situation in opening post of topic) then let me know and describe it to me as if I'm a complete idiot - like a "car audio for dummies guidebook" or something...

Also, if anyone has any advice - like maybe getting a cheap amp (which i have read even cheap amps can help sound quality) - i mean, i don't even know if i would need an amp or not? - audio really isn't my forte!
