whatever you do now though, make sure you get back on them roads as soon as possible in whatever you can.. i've just been out with my mate who passed his test a couple of years ago and only just got back in a car - it was close to being the scariest thing in all my life!

That's gonna be the problem for a bit, I think it will be at least a months before I get on the road, but possibly 2 or 3.

dont buy a corsa , please dont drive fast when u first pass and make my mistakes! words of wisdom there. oh and polo's are horrible for insurance unless u get the 1.0 ,witch is group 2

i have found polos are cheaper than everything else i have tried gettin insurance quotes for. its the main reason i want one (not passed yet), that and apparently they are reliable.

the last time i got quotes i got £1546 for a 1.0l and £1544 for a 1.4l? beats me??
