Pretty standard stuff: clear indicators, 6n2 rears, lowered 60mm front and 40mm rear, aero wipers. 15" OZ alloys. Also fitted JVC head unit, lights up green like dash, and rclick.co.uk remote central locking kit.

Any comments more than welcome! 8-)

Its on 16k now....

thats pretty amazing, its done 120,000 less miles than mine! where did you get the underbonnet soundproofing from?

Good spot on the sound proofing- was in a scrap yard- got it off a diesel. Thought might be good idea- bit of extra weight and all that!

I have some rubbish pics from when I bought it (inc milage) I will put them up....

does it make much of a difference then??

I am sure they are my old alloys! lol!

Do they have 3 red OZ centre caps with a silver carbon fibre effect and then one dodgey one?

Looks great.

iv had these rims for about 7years! bought them on a well dodgy diesel 6n, which i had a bit of a mare with and then sold. put them on my rover 25 when i had it (back in the day!) and since had them on two more 6n's. They are pretty knackered, lots of kerbing (her fault- honest!) and laquer is coming off but they look ok when they have had a clean and do the job!

They are OZ's, and two of the centre caps are worn out but they are red not carbon fibre effect, I should break the bank and buy a set of stickers for the centres but never got around to it!

I havnt really noticed a difference with sound deadening to be honest. its a good quiet car anyhow.

Did a couple of little jobs this weekend.

Image065.jpg

First things first.. lost the locking wheel socket. Rubbish. A bit of socket hammering later....

Image070.jpg

Glad i got them off, dont think i will bother if it is that easy to get them off!

New front discs and pads, the old discs were shocking to be fair.

Wire brished the calipers and rear drums and gave them a lick of black hamerite.

Finally, a job i have been thinking about doing for ages- painted the insides of my headlights. The headlights split no problem at all, altho my indicators had to go in the oven for a minute or so. I am happy with the results tho....

How come it's got diesel clocks in it?

hmmm well observed toby!

so they clocks are from a low milage diesel?

Not my car, we already have 4 VW Polo (3 6N's) in our Family, so this offer the first owner of this 95 mk4 offered to me as the owner of vwpolo6n.de and he thought maybe i would buy the polo... but a friend who crashed his mk4 bought it now.

Ladies und gentlemen, a 95 VW Polo mk4 which was always just registrated from April 1st till Oct. 31st... and then just driven a couple of days per year, the other time it was in a dry garage... and the owner had an eye on the polo and as you can see here and a milage on the counter of 14234miles.

Normaly this car belonges into a museum, cos i don't have any more space for polomodelcars, eben not for a 1:1 modelcar*lol*.

Here the pics:

So the condition can be called "new"

If i wouldn't already have got two own mk4's i would have taken that car.... but even now it is in good hands...

cheers
