Ok guys just found my original alarm details in some servie history tellin me what was installed an what colour wires what etc and it seems my alarm has ability of window rolling and boot release! So as some of you may know my rclick central kit is comin today (hopefully) and it's a 4 door lot for a 3 door car! Could I use one of the 2wire slaves on the bootrelease circuit on it's own as there's only one wire on the alarm for boot release (White/red net out) I'm guessin i wire the power to thefuse box were my other c/locking is going to be powered and the the negative to the alarm control? Would this be right ( I don't wanna have solenoids to open as I'm keepin the handles I just want independant locking! What do you think?

you can use the white/red but you need to use that via a relay to operate the boot pop solenoid as it is a low current negative output and the current it will supply is not enough to operate a solenoid on its own

you will need to fit the motor in the boot and connect the blue wire from it to earth and the green wire will connect to the relay coming from the alarm

the r click kit apparently has a dedicated boot release wire in it

pink if i remember correctly and this has a jumper in it to swap the boot wire from - to + so you would not need the extra relay

so you would connect the pink wire to the green on the motor and put the afore mentioned jumper to the + position

i take it you mean for the relay

you will need a 4 pin relay and wire it as follows

pin 86 connect to 12v+

pin 87 connect to 12v+

pin 85 connect to the accessory output from the alarm

pin 30 connect to the green wire on the boot pop solenoid

thats it

just reading the install thread you state that you cant use it as central locking, it confused me if my boot is locked can i use this system to unlock and open it it seperatly to the doors?

Pin 86 on the relay is for the 12v positive control source, could be the ignition ACC

Pin 87 is the switched 12v positive output, when the relay coil is powered pin 87 connects to pin 30

hmmi dont understand the 12v+ goes into pin 86, what goes to pin 87 as far as wires are concerend?

it does not want to be connected to an ignition source as if it was then you would only be able to get the boot open with the ignition on

put the relay near to the alarm accessory output and connect pins 86 and 87 directly to a permanent 12v+ source i.e the thick red wire at the fuse box

and yes it will always be locked and will never need to be unlocked to open the boot

Nice one last question can I just run one wire from fuse box power to pin 86/87 and bridge of over to the other one or is it better to run two wires one to 86 and one to 87?

yes just run the one and make sure you fit a 5 amp fuse in line on it aswell
