Morning Chaps,

Onto my second set of Banded steelies now and just wanted to know has anybody who has had banded steelies before sealed the area between the dish and the face of the wheel?

I didn't di it on my last ones and as a result i got a ring of rust around this area on each one,

And if so what sealer is the best to use?

I presume you mean when there freshly done and they bare steel?

They aint fresh I bought them about a month ago second hand

These are my first ones (pictured) but this is where I mean and the new ones are also in primer at the moment.

Maybe get some decorators caulk in it as thats overpaintable? run a rind around with the noxxle then smooth it around with a damp finger

Thats pretty much what I was gonna do but thats why I asked which sealer because I imagined some you wont be able to paint over!

Yer appaperntly any good primer will prevent it from rusting, I payed £40 to have my g60's etch primed but they still went rusty :(
