Hi Folks,

This is an update on my First Wheel Refurb.

I got the wheels delivered after paying £56. on ebay for them I am refurbing the wheels one at a time. This wheel was the worst out the lot as some1 attempted to refurb it b4. I still have a bit more polishing to do on this first one and also paint the inners Gloss Black. But i will update again when i do that. :)

So here it goes for the moment.:)

and then once i have polished them a few times more i will then spray each section like this.

I must say m8, They are the tits. lol They will look class on you are polo.

Big props for that polishing dude . Your only a youngen too and you dont seam to be cutting corners and trying to just get as many things done as quickly as poss ..

Wish i was taking so much pride and time with my work .. You seam like a perfectionist .. I know how difficult it can be to polish wheels and beleieve you me as you know its hard long boring work ..

nice one mate.takes along time doesnt it. took me about a week solid to do all of mine.just remember to go through the grades slowly. when it comes to masking up the wheel to paint the inner spoke bits use 3m fine line tape and then masking tape to mask off the wheel. if you use just masking tape you find it will take longer to mask the wheel up and will get paint going underneath the tape.

by the way the last wheel is mine and they are for sale in the wheel section!!!!!!!

Little update.

I have bought a 8000K HID XENON CONVERSION KIT. And also so Nice L.E.D sidelight and number plate bulbs. I have yet to fit my HID's but this is how they came. (Sorry phone pics)

And this is my New L.E.D 's

I Also Bought a Harman/Kardon Ipod kit and fitted that. Still have to tidy it up a bit (the wire etc.) but this is a ruff idea of it.

Fitted my HID XENON COVERSION KIT today and i think they look so much better and are a hell of a lot brighter. :p

Cheers mate. they seem ok but am not to bothered bout them being illegal. MOT is due xmas time so i will change them back to standard for that and then change them back again. :p

So wheel refurb Number 2. :)

Well i bought a set of 13" x 8" Alleycat alloys that need a bit of a refurb just due t the fact i didnt like the way they looked before.

After buying them the thought came into my head. DAMN my polo aint the average 1.0l with small brakes. Its a valver with bigger brakes so these wont fit. :S

Anyway i will let the pics do the talking (sorry phone pics again). I have still the others to do and also to finish the current one but its a rough idea. :)

So the wheels before.

So i started with the worst wheel first. Here's how it went.

Then started stripping it and sorting out what i could.

Then a quick spray.

So painted and a bit of a polish (lots more polishing to come)

The difference so far

Kinda liked them all black but was too black. So i sanded the faces a bit and they will then also get polished.

So where i am with them just now is here.

Oh and btw they will be up for sale or swaps when i am finished coz they dont fit my car.
