if you search through the forums there is an awful lot of good information regarding bike carbs. i also have a mk2 coupe which i intend on converting to bike carbs as soon as i get round to it and i plan on making everything myself. there are quite alot of threads detailing the various methods of producing a manifold the most notable low cost one being mikeymk(?)s one where he used industrial tubing to make the inlet manifold. you could buy a bankd of carbs for like fifty quid from a breakers or of ebay and then do the rest yourself.

hmm yeah its just that manifold ! bogg bros has 6 weeks waiting list and i cannot weld or wouldnt even kno the dimensions to cut a inlet out for :(

if you look through the forums I'm sure there is a guide on how to make the manifold.. or at least the basics of one. I'm not too sure but i reckon if you took the current inlet manifold off then there would be a gasket underneath which would be a good place to start in way of figuring out the dimensions for making your own.. or even just the current inlet manifold would be a good start.

this is in the wrong section really but trust me if you search for bike carbs there is hella loads of good info available.. good luck.

I have a complete set up for sale..pm me?
