Mk5 GTI 1.8T 20v --- 270-280bhp -- Sleeper NEW PICS

Featured Replies

So after a fair few weeks of decisions I want to sell the Polo. Its fun but not really what I'm after now, I've found the perfect A4 cabriolet so I want this gone soon! Please come and take a ride and view before making a silly offer. The car has only covered 7k since the conversion......everything is fresh

VW Polo GTi with a 1.8 20v Turbo conversion

72k and only 7k since the conversion and rebuild

Tax until Jan 2010

only £189 a year as its a 2001 car

Mot until Feb 2010

Car started life as a VW Polo 1.6 16v GTI, then last year we installed the 1.8T engine. Fully swapped over with the DVLA too.

Engine Spec -

K04 Turbo

REVO stage 2 re-map

G60 clutch and fly wheel

Large cone air filter

De-cat exhaust system

Large Front mount intercooler (sprayed black for stealth)

Custom Downpipe

Custom Driveshafts

Custom Boostpipe

Running around 270-280bhp in a car that weighs close to a tonne.

This car really isnt for the faint hearted, its very very quick to 100mph

All modifications have only covered 5000 miles since the conversion

Damping/Height adjustable FK coilovers

Upgraded G60 brakes with custom discs and race pads.

Half leather/suede bucket seats and stripped out rear with the battery in the boot

All bumpers and doors smoothed of rubstrips

Golf G60 steel wheels to complete the sleeper look.

Custom vent in bonnet to help the release of hot air

Momo 280mm team steering wheel.

Xenon's with 6000k HID's

Private Plate not included

I have probably missed lots out so any questions then please ask away.

This car was cat D fully repaired before I bought it and obviously has since then had the engine conversion too.

£6,000

Thanks

Tom

thanks mate

i think its still too much money tbh but free bump for nice car

too much money because...?

people are still selling their GTI's for £4k... nearly 300bhp, no servicing needed for at least 5k...every thing done and complete to drive away....show me where you can get 300bhp per tonne for £6k....in something as well specced as a polo gti

thanks

tom
