You are bidding on this rare and original very condition car. One of the earliest 13OO Sport coupes in this country. The Polo coupe S was Introduced in 1985. The car you are bidding for was registered in February of that year. I have the purchase bill and the car cost £5299. The car is in incredible condition for its age and it featured full 'sports' trim which included sports seats, rev counter, twin-lamp grille, 3-spoke steering wheel and 'sports' styling. The Pole is about the same size and style as a Fiesta XR2.

The only change I have made was to put on a new front wing. The old one was damaged. This car comes with lots of history:

Loads of the old M.O.Ts .

The last MOT report about three years ago. It past on everything (No recommendations at all) Although I had to put on a new indicator switch (£5).

Full service history.

All bills since new (36)This includes service bills.

Log book and manuals also for the stereo Which is original.

The car is as original as it get there is no rust except a very small hole near the battery box ( Common problem on the polo’s (Not structural at all). There are no modifications at all to the car. I would think that it has been kept in a garage for most of its life. The car is low mileage for it's age and the condition matches the mileage. The paint work is in excellent condition and is with only a few tiny marks and a few small dents. The interior is standard Coupe S black seats with black/silver stripes with black carpet and is in "as new"

I’ve had the car for around 5 years I drove it every day for about 3 years, then I bought a Mk1 Golf GTI Campaign. I did not want to get ride of the Polo so it went down to my Brothers house in Wales. Where it has sat for the last Two years. The car currently has no MOT or Tax. We have started the car and the engine sound great.

The only issues are that the windscreen wipers will not come on(We think it could be the relay)

The car has a new battery but only starts from Jump Leads (Possible a bad earth connection.

And the car will not tick over (Either air intake pipe is split or Idele speed/ choke needs looking at.

The car now needs a good home! I’ve not got the time to go Brecon to sort it out. This car with a bit of work could be a great show car or if lowered with alloys it would look superb.

I have been down to Brecon to get it started and I took a load of photos. The only photo that is not recent is the one with the Golf in. (Taken a few years ago when I had both running. The car needs a polish and the engine rocker cover and Air box lid is in needed is a re-spray.

As you can see the car now needs a good home, Sorry to anyone that is interested in the Golf GTI I’ve just sold it.
