i work for mazda and i gota say the mx5 are nice to drive..very good handling, 150bhp to play with if u get the 2.0 16v and not alot goes wrong with them. a very good car i think

Well they test drove the Tigra and the Mazda.... & both fell in love with the MX5, so a week later an '06 one crops up near Guildford, (bout 2 hours away) & it was the 1.8 16v that they were looking for. Dad took me to go see it, and the dealer let us go out just us 2. Wow! It was awesome, then we got back to the dealership, and Dad said to me- "Do you want a go?" I said yes obviously, and the dealer said it was fine. MY GOD! My Polo has felt so inferior ever since!

Took it to 6k in 2nd hahaha. Dad was telling me to slow down, but my response was "This is the only time I'm ever gonna get to drive the thing, so I'm gonna drive it hard!"

Got back to the Place, and put down a deposit, picking it up next weekend.

Excellent choice.

Everybody knocks it, but once you have actually tried it you realise just how good it is and never look back.
