Windows, springs and Power Steering

Featured Replies

I needs to get my sisters Polo through an MOT, but the power steering is now bust, the drivers window jammed and one of the top mounts on the front springs is a bit done (big comedy boing when turning the wheel).

Any idea if you need power steering or working windows to pass? Any idea if the top mount will also need to be fixed?

I want to do the minimum because I'm afraid that she's scrapping it for a new car :-( (It's worth £2000 you know), which may end up being a Polo :-)

Why bother putting an mot on it if she's gonna get it scrapped?

you need an mot to claim the 2000 notes

I imagine the power steering will need to work, as without it the steering is extremely heavy
