thanks jay, i'm thinking of getting a unit and quitting my day job. i used to be a mechanic for a few years so know the trade and i'm sick of seeing what people on a few forums get charged for jobs and seeing people getting ripped off.

i'd also be doing mainly vag so could offer discounts. went to view a few units yesterday but they had been snapped up. you never know i may go it alone and start one up. also been offered part ownership of an established remap company as i used to build circuit boards for a living, program chips and am a qualified machine and hand solderer. the company also has contracts set up with forge and a couple of other parts suppliers.

Well that's good news! Then you cn have your first customer asking for a G40T lump in his GT haha! No seriously though, id be interested in having some work done if you did start up alone! Keep us posted on how it goes! :)

haha, you can't help yourself can you? Your always buying something, pimping it, finishing it, sell it and move on to the next one. Good stuff though, I like it on the black wheels, looks mooody.

Beaut!

did it myself mate, bought a roll of fablon / vinyl and cut the squares. a mate went to a sign writers and he paid £4 for 50 pre cut gloss black 25mm squares. he didn't use them so he gave them to me so i used them on my charge pipe.

Good work mate

well it's been running for a few days now, apart from the loud exhaust it's all pretty much exactly how i intended the engine conversion to turn out.

waiting for my stiffer spring for my forge actuator, a forge turbo intake pipe and hight temp elbow off the turbo then i'll get it live mapped and rolling roaded to see what it's pushing out.

i vinyl'd the pillar between the windows which i really love and yesterday i painted the clock fascia - which is growing on me. also hoping to get the roof done gloss black early next month too.

Looks so mint dude with the black lights!!

I would! ;)
