My 6n finally down on the ground!

Featured Replies

well it been a long time since i first said i was geting coilies to myself ( back last year with my mk2 golf and jetta) but never got round to affording any.

however thanks to LeighP on here i got some coiles for a good price!

I have never done any work on suspension before actually iv only ever messed with body work and interior really, however i bit the bullet as i couldnt afford to pay someone to do and thanks to a very helpful guide i fitted them myself and was surprised at how easy it was!! despite the terensial rain we had yesterday i mannaged to finish it by 10.30 last night feeling very tired and wet after struggling getting the bolts undone! lol :x

here it is now, i need to adjust them all to suit my preference but my god does it feel good to be lower!!

I had to fit my 13" steels up front cuz the 14" valver alloyswere rubbing on the springs, do i need spacers?

Looking good!

The fronts will be rubbing due to the massive balloon tyres, if you can't afford new lower profile tyres or a new set of wheels then just stick a 10mm spacer on them

I'm liking the odd wheel tbh, think it looks awesome =]

sitting nicely. i love the back of lowered 6n's :D

Alex

the tyres on my valver alloys are lower profile than normal but the inside tyre wall runs on the springs! :retard:

i think i might get some spacers though, a bit cheaper than tyres :-)

cheers again guys,

steve
