what sorta difrence in performance would I be looking at with this in a GT? Also is it better to run it with bike carbs etc

With other mods it could see a very good gain I imagine, better breathing mod's will help get the best out of it. Doesn't have to mean bike carbs, but a 4 branch would help alot. Obviously ported head etc would also help.

Well ebay have removed it due to me saying that i can end it early (!?!?) and saying that paypal fees must be covered, i'm sure i see this in most other auctions... but oh well.

Not wanting to hamper sale, but piper say this wont fit in the gt without valve hitting pistons due to lift being 2+mm

Hmm, how does that work? It has the same lift as a schrick 268/264 - 11mm.

If that's right it could be much more suited to the AEE then, that's a non-contact head design so has much more clearance, and it's standard camshaft is a highish lift so this may be better suited to it.
