hi been haveing trouble with my drivers window .it stopped workin, had a look and the motor and regulator is fine / sort of//.. the problem is the cable came off the roller as its got a kink in it ,, just after some info on where i could get the cable by its self from or what other vw s cables will fit,if any .......... if any 1 got a spare cable knockin round . let me know n ill have it off you ... cheers mick

No worries mate.

Mine had a kink in it but managed to straighten it abit with some pliers and wrap it back on the roller but...

Its gone again lol so I'm after the same thing. I think you can only get the whole thing as 1 bit so I'm going to go down a scrap yary and get a whole new mechanism.
