both my speakers on my 6n are kaput! and need changing i was wondering how to remove the door card?

No need to just get a reallythin screw driver (flat blade) or knife and pop the speaker grills off and then you will see the speakers with 4 Posi drive screws in undo them and unclip the speakers then add new ones... wah la done!!!

The above is true, however, if you would prefer to strip it down, as I do for running new wiring etc..

Thin flat head screw driver on the interior handle, take off plastic cover.

Pull off the wing mirror plate toward the windscreen, just pulls off.

Unscrew the door pin and take off.

Phillips screwdriver on the gold screws within the interior door handle.

If electric wing mirrors, thin flat head behind the controls and it pulls out, disconnect wires.

Pull the door card away from the door to release the clips and you're done. :)

A hot tip for removing the speaker covers in both the doors and the dash..

To avoid causing any damage to the speaker covers or surrounding plastic etc simply cut a large square from the side of a two litre fizzy drink bottle - once cut, the square will hold a natural curve simalar to that of the original bottle, however it is flexible so can be used on any size speaker cover etc.

Using the curve to your advantage, slide the plastic square between the speaker cover and the door card, pull it towards the outside of the speaker so it grips and give it a little jiggle and the cover will pop off without any damage at all! :-D

haha that sounds like a really really good and quick idea for doing this i will give it a go and thank you for the help!

The drivers side door is sticking on my 1991 honda accord 2 door. It is a huge pain to open It seems like the hinge is out of alingment or the stricker plate is off. Is this a known problem? Is this easy to fix?

Any help would be appreciated.

i think you have posted in the wrong thread mate, either make a new post in the section or go on a honda owners club as they will know more than us lot about hondas
