bolfs look nice as do normal golfs decked on rh turbos

not really a fan of more modern cars but must admit for a newer car its not that bad a looker and can look really good imo, mind you any thing is an improvement on the mk3

really? i didn't realize the engine changed the fact it was ugly as sin, drove like shit and had piss poor build quality

the best engine in the mk3 was by far the ABF, but it's not like it had any contest tbh

Standard mk4 golfs are absolutely awful, like, you can barely tell the differecne between the GTi's and the normal ones?

however, a set of nice rims, lowered, and it makes the car look amazing

yes, but if it wasn't for either of them then the mk5 would be in the top 2

imo nicely modded mk4's look better than most modded mk5's (but like i said i'm not a fan of modern cars), and nicely modded mk3 are few and far between imo.

mk3 golfs fail on every point but the noise (and that's only on the vr6's), the abf was wasted in that chassis, they make a decent engine then stick it in a heavy, poorly built tank and then detuned it because it was quicker than the VR6... waste of a good engine.
