2002 MK4 Golf 20vT 210BHP **PICS UPLOADED**

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I'm selling up my golf, spec as follows:

2002 Golf Gti Turbo

66,000 Miles

3dr In Black

Black and grey recaro interior

VW service history (some services done private too)

Just had it APR Remapped, approx 210BHP and only running 16psi boost so its safe!

It has a Pipercross pannel filter and a smoothed and drilled airbox

Brand new MAF sensor

a few new hoses etc..

The car is very quick and shocks a few people as to look at it looks standard. The APR map extends the boost of the turbo right up through the rev range as standard ones give up guts at around 4000rpm. The sound of the car with the panel filter and modified box is awesome, slowly coming off boost gives a loud "Wastegate Chatter" which everyone loves! Drive it nicely it will return 40mpg, but obviously if you dont drive it nicely, it wont!

Tax untill end of july and MOT is about the same, but will put a fresh 12months MOT for the new owner!

Price is £4350 and pictures will be uploaded tonight - its a very clean car!

PM me with offers etc and i am open to p/x's or swaps!

Thanks

AUM mate - drive by wire not throttle cable

ok, just to let you know the AUM comes with the better version turbo - the K03s - remaps are cheaper as you can plug it in and down load it as opposed to the earlier AGU (throttle cable) comes with k03 turbo and have to remove the ECU to physically chip it.

not sure if you're over on ukmkivs?

theres always alot of conflict between which turbos they have lol

I'v always believed that the AUM & AGU have the K03 where as the Anniversery engine (180bhp) have the K03S. Althought alot of people to believe different things, iv give up on doing research on the turbos. i think the only way I'm gonna know is to have a look at the turbine fins as the K03S has 8 and the K03 have 12?

Thanks

aum has k03s unless someone has changed it, i've sold 3 ko3s turbo's in the past month all off aum's. i've fitted an aum in my bora with s3 ko4 turbo, but the engine removed from an 2001 gti also came with a k03s. i've yet to see an aum without a ko3s. yes the s has 8 blades and bigger internals and k03 has 12 blades.

16psi @ 210+ on a ko3s is acheivable

20psi @ 200 max is do able just on a ko3.

I see - that would be the reason why APR predict 207BHP from a map on the AUM.

Thanks for clearing that up buddy
