Finally got my genuine carbon fibre mirror on today. Just needs the baseplate fillering and spraying.

Bought them last year from a bloke with an evo at a car boot sale. He was selling loads of old street race gear - silicone hoses, air filters, aluminium piping etc etc

they're still about £60 brand new from ESP design on my local industrial estate - i paid nowhere near that much for them though lol.

I've got a spare passenger side one though if anyone needs one lol.

Sat in my garage now. Might sell them on but darrell hx probably gets first dibs as he showed some interest when he picked up my merc hubcaps the other day. Plus he can collect (I'm a lazy bastard i dont like posting things)

Bare in mind they are old ones with "wingar" stamped on them, not modern repros. Bought them from a hot rod show, bloke said theyd been on a cortina. But they do have some rust on the bottom of them. Polish up well though.

Had to come back off though coz i messed up the paint and more importantly the lacquer. Going back down to primer now... :(

Rear lights are just the indicators sprayed with some black tinting spray. Unbolt, mask up and give about 5 coats. Could do with laquering over the top sometime though, looks a bit too satin.

Still not sure whether to do the eyebrow in silver as the pictures or satin black... I think it will take a bit of getting used to.

How was it attached around the lights frybert?

think it was just attached to the top of the grill, think it would be better in silver dude

Splitter is one of my favorite parts too! I really like this car, very cool, I'm loving the grill spoiler too, don't see them very often now days!

Got a bit of a video at the ricoh the other night, needed to show someone what the exhaust sounded like.

Sounds pretty quiet in the vid, but i like it. I never see the car driving around lol.

Took delivery of a few parts from will salter yesterday.

Got a second plastic suspension top for the inside of the engine bay to cover the ugly suspension bits.

Also got those OEM optional extra interior carpet. Fits well, but needs clips or something to attach. Thinking of a solution atm.

Pretty cool imo. Time will tell if it gives any soundproofing.

First black handle insert (another on the way in post) goes onto the delock handle. Looks killer imo! Proper smooth.

Also thought id show off my new dailies

Yeah they're pretty easy to fit. Its likely to be a rear from a 4 door golf or jetta or something, so the strikers are different. You just have to get the roll pin out of it and swap the bits over. Looks cool as hell imo but it has caught me out a couple of times. I've got used to two years of being able to unlock the passenger door lol.
