1999 Aprilia rs125 * Pics added Finally*

Featured Replies

I'm not selling It JUST yet, but will be in the near future.Just want to see if theres any interest

So. . Its an Aprilia rs125 (1999 model) has a 122 Rotax engine.

Its currently having a new Crankshaft, piston/rings, bearings and gasket set put on, which is costing me an arm and a leg About £450-500 .

So, will be good for at least another 10,000+ miles without needing the engine stripping.

Its a full power model aswell, so works out around 253bhp per tonne. .

Its dark navy blue and red in colour, which is pretty rare around here, i haven't seen another one like it ever, apart from the t'internet.

*BUT, Whilst it was being stripped down for the rebuild in the recent passed, the side fairing panels have been misplaced or WORSE , left at my old House. .so is currently a Half fairing model.* Although this isnt that bad, with a set Of Samco Rad' hoses, it'll look the Dogs Boll*cks. Following this, there are a few scrapes/scratches about

With the right conditions etc, it 'll do 105mph or so, the clocks say more, but there usually out by a bit. so i say 105 to be on the fair side <-- ge tit on some twisty B-roads and You'll be the Don!

Currently dont have any pictures as its in the Local bike garage, getting The treatment done. . . But Ask and i'll try and go and get some of it being rebuilt etc. . and when its all in one peice.

I'm essentially after an Alright looking Mk3 Polo, golf, jetta, 306 . . Anything With low insurance etc. . I'm only a Wee 17 year old. But preffrably Something that'l Look pretty decent Euro'd up, slammed Haha.. But I'd like it to have a lenghy T&T etc. dont mind a bit of rust etc. .

Failing this, I'm after around 900-1100 of the Queens Finest, The bike would be sold with 12months MOT aswell, but no tax as I'm not insured anymore. and the MOT ran out a couple of weeks ago, so i'll leave that until it comes to be sold, and get 12 months put on.

Sorry do not have any pics, in the garage so haven't had chance to get some.

cheers, ed.

The original lower panels have been found, but have got a couple of holes in them due to having something lent on them in storage. So I'm gonna try and get a new/used set of lower panels. *may not be the same colour* but i can spray them as good as i can to match the original colour scheme. Or spray the entire bike-Colour of your choice.

cheers

That doesn't matter too much, my dad used to make fairings for race bikes, so patching that in shouldn't be a prob.
