3 pages of utter shite. wtf lol

they appreciate the humour, it's just chucking random convo's into one thread other than being spread out.

As for the polo, i'm also building myself a golf mk3 so it'd be more of a daily.

pics of golf or it never happened.

my golf?

you want some pics of a standard 1.4, some axles from a VR6, a pile of pimp looking parts from my last one and a shit load of bits which I currently have to paint?

I miss my old colour concept, I liked my 16V mk2 so I'm going to combine and make myself a 16V mk3 with style. I'm starting with a 1.4 because i know what I'm doing, it's going to be no different to a factory 16V except the fact mine won't have a sunroof. I'm not a sunroof fan.

this is my old colour concept, mate had it and got the back smacked into, hence why I bought a cheap NZ polo (later put a GT in) as a runabout.

how's that?

thats fukin tasty no word of a lie.

i think I've seen both of those cars in photographs on somewhere.

I love the oak green mk2 especially got a hell of a lot of time for it :).

do you build them power or looked based?

do like mk3s, want a 16v next, cant seem to find any!

The colour concept was an 8V so it wasn't really power based, I had a VR6 for it but it got wrote off before it made it in.

The mk2 was a bit of both, originally it was built as a 24v V6 but i couldn't get an exhaust manifold done cheap enough (quoted 800, storm weren't doing them then) so I flogged the engine out of it and used an abf I had lying about. It had a hydro clutch, cable shift box unlike some others which just use a KR box. It was sitting on mk3 VR6 288mm five stud brakes with braided hoses so it handled and stopped well enough, the wheels were powder coated A3's, had hot tuining (cheap) coils, retrimmed rado seats, original bodywork, mk3 fuel tank and pump (silent), leather steering wheel and a few more choice bits on it. Was a pimp machine.

that car no word of a lie is probably one of my top 3 favourite ever cars. Perfect height, alloys and colour with power to boot. AVE IT.

It also owed me £700 when it was done.

I sold it for £1600.

terribly gd car tho.

awesome car, was stupidly fast.

bought a 3.5 cab with the profits, cab was cheap due to being in london, knackered gearbox and the fact it was september.

went down, pushed the cab down the hill, rang the AA, told them I'd just blown my gearbox, got a free lift back up north, picked up a gearbox for eighty quid from a mate on the way, fitted it the next day and it's been absolutely fine ever since.
