Cool car man

get on the back-to-black on them bumpers :)

Alex

much too goo to rat!

Upload the pics via photobucket ;) much easier than uploading via cp.

it mitebecome my work horse soon cuz I'm finkin bout starting up my own window cleaning business, so the ladders on the roof and the equipment might slam it for me lol ,

ok then sorry laughs

how much could i lower this car for then and how do i go about it

Looks good mate, engine bay looks really clean too.

see its also got a genesis steering wheel too.

Megs tyre gel, far better than black to black, may take a couple of applications to restore full colour, used it on a very grey saxo grill that black to black didnt make a diffrence and also kept washing off in the rain and it looked 10x better after the first coat.

shal i take it to a garage or will they rape my pocket???

could i jus take my bumpers off and re spray them?? o and

do you think an old skool roof rack would look good on it if i got it lowerd :)

no i ment to get it lowerd , il try that bumper stuff you are talking about

my problem is , is that i dont know anything about lowering and i want to learn i have £500 to spend on it and i dont know how to go about it I'm looking on ebay for some stuff :)

ok m8 cheers again lol

what about fitting them

You coudl respray them but it wd cost more than megs....

No

not really mate, i've done all the plastics on the jetta, just whip them off give them a quick clean then paint over them with matt black. makes them look like new and theres no way that washing off in the rain lol, mines been done a good few weeks now and still looks spot on, shame there showing the rest of the car up now, need to give it another clean when i can be arsed.

hmm, if i was going to do it i would do it properly with primer e.t.c but if you do the pikey way McLOVIN said then ye, would be cheaper.

you don't need primer with matt black mate as that's basically what it is, so no pikeyness there

heatgun ftw

i did the back bumper on the goof in it and its all flaked off, primered the front and then threw the paint on and it was fine :? confuzzled!

Same with satin by any chance haha saves me buyin primer on the met if it is lol

no you need primer with satin. did you clean the rear bumper? i've done this to the jetta and a golf i had and never had any issues :?

how does gloss black bumpers look with gloss black body work

i dont know wether iot would look shit or better
