whats the paint code for your paint ? and is it mettalic?

  • Author

Its not Metallic and paint code, I'm not sure how do i check and ill PM you it :)

Would look rad slammed on a set of black P-sluts mate! Like your ideas.

  • Author

How the ICE sits at the moment :) - Yes it needs an enclosure and a mess around, few bits securing etc

24.jpg

And This is the rear, take notice at the black on the concrete :(

28.jpg

And the Front :) with the Debadged grill back on

27.jpg

Needs a clean and the chrome stripping re-securing with the heat it has come looose :(

Think the gt/g40 red stripe would look better imo but good base car;)

I've decided against anything on the bumpers for now, may experiment, theres going all black and going to remove the plates for now (it is off the road)

New plans,

Basically its getting "slammed" i want it at least 90/80 but then I'm fearing its not low enough :( but ill see,

Am going to polish the P-slots when i get them see how they looks polished :)

Pressed Plates - phoning Dubmeister to finalize the group Buy

De-wiper the rear - Doing it tomorrow

Get the MDF and build my ICE enclosure, been too long now Minus the comps for front

REMOVE the chrome,

Eventually get a GT interior

Desmo Roof racks (for my kayaks)

Some 6.5" front Comp speakers to finish my ICE off

And there my plans for the exterior, still havnt made my mind up on the engine bay yet :/

its a case of do i save lots of money, go to the ring with a 1.0L and when i have enough money start a Camper Van Project - my all time favourite veihcle

OR

Spend money on a GT conversion, Full Stainless, Dewedged Throttle Body, air filter, 8K rev Chip

OR

Get a 1.3 Conversion done, full stainless, GT Cam and GT Manifold with a 8K rev Chip

Havnt decided :/

why not just buy a gt??

  • Author

Simply because, i bought my car and didnt really reseach whats best, AND i dont have the money

as my car will give me time

and I'm looking at £600-800 for a decent GT

Yes i know its the money you will spend, and if i had that money at once id buy one

I want a GT but cant afford basically I'm waiting for a good one to come up once I've passed and ill snap one up, tow it back, using my dad disco 3 (hell drive it) an then id transfer all my mods to it, but then i need to think insurance wise :)

thats a reeeally nice color :D

I saw the word Marmite and had to come and see :-p

Like Marmite I love it

  • Author

haha, thanks D16rrt

And ballerman it is a nice colour, its grown on me over the past gew days :) need some touching up, so when I've passed taking it down to a friend to spray some bits, main is surface rust on the arches and some bubbling around the windscreen

Should have some bigish updates in 2 weeks :) little shitty ones for now though

Also need to either eplace the dizzy or just clean it, since got some water into the bay - what my uncles reckons could sort it :)

Looks like a good base dude  and I'm liking the mods so far :)

But believe-you-me 90/80 is plenty low enough

Haha Thanks,

I have now removed the chrome, needs a good clean but the weather is making this impossible at the moment :@

My GT is the same colour, bought for £300 5mths ago, but at my age insurance isnt much of an issue.

Your bodywork is much better though. I have the red strip in my bumpers and added red on the grille as well like your chrome. I just painted/colour coded the boot handle as well and i reckon it looks really smart.

FUCKING TITTY WANK DRIVER BEFORE ME!!!!!!!!!

ARGHHHH

Always wondered why the bumper, grill and front lights didnt sit right :@

Well after taking many screws out, and the bumper, seeing where the bodged it, on the passenger side,

The slam pannel has had a bash, but caved in, the front bumper was held to the slam panel with a rusty bolt, and was all cut from where the fucked up

So i now need a new front bumper and some body work i think,

Thinking of selling the shitty thing now

ok in the pictures, lights sit straight sort of, also broke my debadged grill clips, so need ANOTHER NEW ONE :@

Look closly at passenger side

Pikey photo all together sort of :(

thats unlucky mate, I'm fearing taking my bumper off now as it sags on one side and the headlight doesnt really stay in properly either :|

To be honest I'm really considering, fixing it up, put some springs on and putting it up for £400 - £500 and saving a little more and buying a 6N2

It will standard Steelies too

a little more? a fair bit more*
