Aye i sold it a month or 2 back, and got a 1.1 black mk1 golf :)

Which the ended went :( sort of regret seling it, and I'm almost tempted to pop down see where the lads are with it, and when i have cash buy it back as it will make a good daily, as the golf eats fuel :(

if I'm honest i was sick fo the site of it, especially wothout driving it proper and having it sat there :/

Heres how it left me :/

I basically stuck steelies on, pressed plates, finished off the bumper and took all audio out :/

And heres my golf

Got some plans, basically once the new lump is in (a mk2 coupe S engine) ill hopefully drop it, spray the wheels satin black, finish my hidden install and get gTI front seats, while i sabe for a respray and some teledials :p

Love the golf!, wont take much to make that look the muts nuts, plans sound great.

Yeah the main let downs are it ran like a dog, got that sorted 3 days later piston rings go

And the bodywork, its tidy in places then theres bits that let it down, mainly the lower valances which will be sorted, along with a new bonnet and drivers side wing, the rest is just a case of sand down odd bit of filler and respray

I do miss the polo thoug :/

Yeah it would be frustrating but you need to bear in mind how old it is.I suppose the polo would be less work and less hassle but I'd rather have the golf mate.

Golf will have a new lump soon, and in july it needs mot, a fair ammount of work so i may look at getting another coupe :p
