no, it's likely to be it.

they'd mount in an mk5 on the chassis legs, like all polo's of that era, but the saloon uses the same subframes and mounting methods as a cordoba.

I may look out for one of these at some point.

wouldn't these bolt in the same as any of the other small block engines, like the PY, MH, ABD... if so it would just bolt straight on to the mk2 golf sub frame, the engine mounts would be different from big block mk2 golf mounts but ones from any 1.3 mk2 golf would hook you right up... that's going off the assumption that they do bolt up the same as the other small block lumps?...

back on topic theres a mk3 polo round the corner from my mates house that has an 'astra' badge on the boot lid as if it was meant to be there, fuck knows what that's all about
