I'm 18 and I'm with adrian flux with all mods declared, they are really cool about mods, i even chatted to a guy who owns a modified corrado or golf, cant remember, when i called! lol

i was shocked i thought it would put it up a massive amount with me being 18 with no NCB.

Most of the time you just need to ask and it doenst make a difference to the policy price just as long as you let them know.

There are so many things wrong with some of the posts on here. If you have mods, declare them.....

If you cant afford to declare them, don't have the mods. Its as simple as that!!!

If your car costs £2k to insure before mods its probably because you are a high risk driver and with an attitude like that I think its right. But to actually brag about not declaring mods is an idiotic thing to do. I never modified my polo when i had despite how much i wanted to because I couldnt afford to. Its pillocks like you who are driving up the premiums for young males. Thank you very much!
