on full licence or provinisal licence?

best bet is ringing around mate- you will get a hundred different prices here and all could be different to what would cost you.

its not just as simple as who is the cheapest, as who the cheapest was for me will be different to who was the cheapest for ben_rezza, it varies.

they take into account things such as job, income, location, where the car is going to be kept. Its not just as simple as I'm insurring this car how much is it going to cost me.

Best bet as said is to ring round fella. Some of the places i personally found the cheapest where, direct line and churchill. Some people have had joy with Adrian Flux but i find there prices extortinate.

I went with Quinn, Just under £900 on a 1.4 Tdi.

i'm 18, almost 19, and my insurance back in january was/is £1200 for a 1.0L.

its all about area, parking and job status.

sadly, i live in a shithole with no drive and I'm a student...

fail.

k heres what to do if you have a older car yea...ring footmanjames, just google the name.. i got a quote of £400 for a 1ltr mk2 polo saloon.. for the full year with breakdown cover 3rd party fire n theft....itz nice 8-)

my first year of insurance was with elephant, £600 1L mk4 fully comp. (but i'm female so its gonna be cheaper 4 me), bell insurance were my next cheapest. Altho if you do have a crash the excess is high (£250 compulsary excess then whatever you want to add on, if you do it can make the quote lower!)

I also added my o/h (he was 26 iirc at the time)and my parents (both 52) and that lowered it alot. So basically add anyone reasonably older than you that u can, provide they're licences and history ect is pretty clean.
