have swapped my rear bumper for a valver one already but can i swap my front one straight over for a 16v one?? would it be a straight fit? i was allways sure it would be but a recent ebay listing has put doubt in my mind saying it would only fit 16v, gti models.

any responses would be greatly appreciated! :)

a 16v bumper off a 6n, will fit on any 6n e.g. 8v/small bumper one, i had small bumpers and swapped them for 16v bumpers. easy job, i had to snap off the bolts on either side by the wheel arches becuase they had rusted togeher, but it quite simple to do.
