Hi all just wondered if all 50 places have been booked as i want to come and also my m8 in his 6n2 gti? if so will just pay on the day how much is it for the hole weekend?

50 places? Afaik, there isnt a 50 plot limit.

all weekend will be. £30 iirc (1 car, 1 pitch and upto 4 people)

If you let them know you're coming for the polo show, they'll be able to give you the correct prices.

you have to quote 'CP0809' to get the rally rate of £15 per night for a car and a tent for up to 4 people, otherwise its £20 per night on the gate. all other info is in a pinned topic at the top of this forum.

there is a danger that if not enough people book in advance we could be moved out of the nice field we have set aside, although as we have booked a marquee this is quite unlikely. even still you save money by booking in advance and it guarentees that we will have that field, i think the organisers at Billing much prefer it if people book in advance.

It is a good sized field imo. Out the way and not exactly next to a roadway where things are a little less secure.

BBQ next to the canal this year if the sun stays out.

how many people have booked so far do u actully know? Hope irs nice sunny weather, would be a downer if it is shit weather, but it wont be, have faith.

was 12 plots sold when i called, i think that was last month so not great at all! hoping more people will have boked by now. I'll give them another call and update everyone.

I've not booked yet Silly i know but things just keep appearing that need dealing with and steals the money i had set aside. If i cant get it booked before the show, i may not make an appearance

I think the biggest limiting factor is money unfortunately. I wont be coming if i dont manage to pay in advance. £20 a night to camp on abit of grass is extortion.

fair point Jon, its well worth booking in advance.

Also its well worth remembering that you pay for a plot for up to 4 people. One car is included with the plot, so you could pay the £10 for each extra cars if you are coming in a group and share a tent therefore cutting the costs considerably :-D

also in fairness you are paying for a bit more than a space in a field at billing. they have good showers, toilets etc..etc... plus good security patrolling the place. It's not like the last time I went to inters where I paid a silly amount of money for what was literally nothing more than a patch of grass in a farmers field with a couple of portaloos between 100s of people.

Thats what put me off Inters last year. Must say the facilities at Billing are 100x better than at Whittlebury.

On a different note, we'll have room in our tent if anyone needs a place to kip. As long as you can work a BBQ, we wont charge you

just got my 2/3room tent, and getting a pretty decent new bbq soon that I'm going to assemble when i get there.

also a ciggarette lighter cool box on loan!

If I book a plot in advance for my car and up to 4 people... Can cars be added to this after booking and nearer the time? Or does it have to be dead set from booking, if you get what I am trying to say?

also i would like to know this, if no1 sais by lunchtime i will ring them up and let u know

Edit: its probably unlikely if u think about it, someone would book it up, then people would keep adding to it on here at a tenner a pop, but will still ring them in a couple hours

is it worth askin also total of peole booked up so far aswell, or wont they tell me? I will post up the info soon once I've been onto them on the dog n bone.
