My Three Polos

So I thought I should quickly introduce myself and my history with polos.

I'm 19 now and started driving as soon as I turned 17. a few months into my driving lessons my Dad brought me a N reg Polo.

Purtrisha :)

She cost him £300 and previously belonged to an old lady whos husband was a mechanic, so except for some rust on the bodywork she was generally ok. I had her for a few months then sold her to one of my mates who also sold her on a few months later.

I then got Prudence a Perodua Kelisa.

(not to everyones taste i know. specially to my boyfriend and the boys at work who took the mick but to me she was cute)

almost a year to the day that i got her i was on my way down to work and a man in a van went into the side of me as i went over the rounadbout. i shouldnt have trusted him to stop i know (specially as for some reason so many people are blind to that mini roundabout) but by the damage caused to my car you could see he was travelling to fast. and he straight away admitted that he just didnt see me. but anyway turns out the bloke has had a crash on the 11th month of every year hes been driving pretty much (a good 30 years)

i was giving a KA as a curtasy car for a few months while insurance was sorted.

In January I got HURT a 2001 MK5 Silver 1.0L Polo E

which was a bit of a rushed mistake. one of those times I didnt listen to my gut.

shes a really nice car! dont get me wrong. but not quite right for me.

And shes now up for sale

This June I got my Current Polo

Shes a 2000 MK5 1.4 16V Polo SE

she needed some work.

a good clean inside and out.

and a few little paint touch ups.

a service.

and we did a quick refurb of the wheels, as you can see in the photo they had a few scuffs.

i got a new eqhuast as the other was blowing. and there is a slight crack on the manafold so I'm gonna get a new one on pay day.

ill get round to getting some new interior door handles as typically theyve peeled. and a new gearbox gaiter as i have a thing about them being perfect (one thing i liked about HURT was how perfectly she was kept).

and also a new headunit (when i can find one i like) and some door speakers

As for Purtrisha she is now owned by a girl who works near me so i see her around sometimes.

Prudence was returned to me and is still in my name but my dad has brought her off me and is doing her up to drive the dog around (so that the interior in his car doesnt get scratched lol)

and HURT is also in my driving waiting to be sold
