Then theres I-Kube thing; they put a box in your car to check that you don't drive between 11pm and 6am - if you do drive between these times then they charge you £45.

But having this; they dropped my insurance to £1550...

£700!!

I wouldn't touch one of those tracker things, but that's mainly because I'm a big nocturnal driver.

I don't want too but its sooo much cheaper.

Tried confused.com but there kicking out higher prices than Direct line.

look at adrian flux they have been really good for me sinse i was 17 I'm 18 now nearly 19 and they did me a resonable quote, way less then what you say u been getting! phone as many companies as possible and work them off each other by saying u got a cheaper quote here and there and they most of the time will knock a lot off, (well thats what i did lol)

Thats what a were supposed to be doing, £900-£1000 I were getting then that way; but just as a pass, she changed her mind.

I'm 17 and searched on gocompare. I got £1546 with quinn direct on a mk4 1.4. Give em a go mate. Although i was getin your kinda quotes wen i jst turned 17. I'm 18 in 3 months...

It makes me laugh when people assume this.

At the end of the day, am seventeen and an't got £2250 to spend insuring a £400 car.

So the fact a got this deal for like £1400, saved me alot of money.

you might wanna look at pass plus. I done this when i passed, many moons ago. It cost £75 and saved me something like 25% on a £1300 insurance policy- so paid for itself instantly!

have you tried Quinn insurance? when i was 17 and when a few of my friends were 17 they seemed to quote the best prices but that was 4 years back now, might be worth a try though? other thing is, your not really gonna do 15000 miles a year and even if you were to go over your 'designated mileage' i've never once heard of an insurance company asking for the actual mileage of the car.
