TA Technix coilovers

Featured Replies

I know people have been asking alot about these coilovers but just wondering what peoples views on the TA Technix coilovers ? As i have read on some seat forum about the mounts bending etc. Are the ap coilovers any better or is it worth saving for some £400-500ish ones ? They are for a 1.4 6n2 and its a daily ride so nothing thats going to break my back in two

Any comments would be very useful

Thanks

i have them on my 6n pal, there not that bad just avoid big pot holes!! they dont break my back in 2!!

I've jsut got a set for a mk3, only fitted the rear so far drove about 30 miles to give em a test and they seem ok, but then again I've been driving bumpy vans for a couple of years so i wouldnt know if they're too stiff or not :D

I have a set and to be fair, for what I payed, £150, they are value for money.

If you're expecting a ride like the suspension you already have then you are dreaming a bit, although, I'm not sure what these ride like at say 40mm down.

When around the 100mm+ mark, the ride is bumpy, as you'd expect, it's not stiff as such but has a bit of a bounce to it, it hasn't broke my back, but at the end of the day, i've sacrificed ride for looks. Depends how far you want to go.

always keep your eye open on the bay aswel matey as these coilovers are the same as the hottuning ones and the ones that philj supplies so i was originally going to go for a set of these but picked up a set of kw highsports for £60 more that were only a month old and the ride quality for a 100mm down is superb. But as far as I'm aware and reviews and opinions i had about the ta technix were that they were pretty good pal, especially for the dollar your paying.

i have a set on my jetta and they are wound all the way down and are ok.

As said before you cant moan for the price.

APs if you can afford them. There in a different league to TAs.

does anyone get a knocking from these TAs since i fitted mine i have from the front check all bushes joints bearings wheel balancing track etc etc etc but still a knocking...........?
