1993, GT coupe 1.3, G40 BBS, Lowered 60/40 on philj shocks and springs, Straight through centre section with G40 backbox. De-wipered lol

its a wee bit dirty

Plans so far:

New Brakets for other Fog Lights,

Adjust the Rear,

Vinyl Roof Deep Purple,

Paint Red Bits Black, (GT badges purple.. possibly )

Blacken Bumpers more,

Re-trim Door Cards Purple Checkered (tartan) ,

Hammerite Engine, Clean up Engine Bay.

Pressed Plates,

HID Kit,

Little Things like mirror blanks, door handles re-sprayed, gear gaitor, car mats, a good service

.. eventually Coilies for the rear, Seats and I'm pretty sure ill go through all sorts of wheels

Not sure whether to put the arches and side stripes back on... I've also got some GT steels, debating whether to sell the BBS's to a friend and paint the Steels... hmmm

Need a passenger side Door Card (mines snapped in half), if anyone has one they want rid of PM me Please :p

Very nice and clean I'm not sure about the red 'fins' in the bumper, but apart from that its very nice. And keep the bbs

Have you the genuine fogs he gave you? All you need is a new bracket around £25 from the dealers. they used to belong to me!

yer my mate works at VW so i might get him to get me some discount on the brackets.

Had a slight problem today washing car, got the seats soaked.. ooopsy! got my bum nice and wet tho which was nice in this weather, lucky i was in bikini.

when it cools down ill blacken the bumpers and take some more pictures :)

Mikes a legend this is my first car so he has been lovely and very helpful with things.

I was genuinely sad to see this car go, I'd never seen anyone else drive it!

My rear is soo high.. hurry up drew and adjust my springs/shocks, also i dnt think the bumpers on properly

i really like the red fins in the bumper and i think the rear bumper is sitting correctly, they just dont seem to look right from factory.

can the rear shocks not be set down a couple of notches to even out the stance?

wet arse and in a bikini and all you got was pictures of a ginger paedobear.

personally i dnt like the red fins, they will be going black soon and i checked the bumper and i dnt think its hooked in properly, i no they sit abit funny neway but this is right off its mark. and yes its on springs/shocks so i will be adjusting them as soon as someone does it for me

plus i were wearing clothes over the bikini at the jet wash but as my seat got soaked, i just lifted my skirt up cos i had the kini bottoms on underneath, didnt really matter if they got abit wet (soaked) lol

kinda got the feeling i said that wrong.. wet pants.. i dread to think what comments ill get now!!

lol @ Leigh - i've lowered the rear a little bit more (as much as the spring/shocks will go) but still not happy so i gotta try find some rear 80mm spring/shocks or maybe coilovers. Only problem is, i only need two for the rear cos i dnt wanna get some for the front cos well apparently its abit differcult to fit..

Rich - was nice meeting u yday even if it were for 5 minutes lol i think I'm gunna keep the arches incase the marks dont polish off my doors and arches. I think one of them is broken neway (oops)

I've done a few small bits to it over the last couple of weeks. haven't managed to clean it up due to the rubbish weather down here, hopefully if its a little sunnier tomora i will give it a good scrubbing. :)

I may have some silly short rear springs somewhere in my house/garage/shed, or will probs have some when I get my coilies.

Little update -

Bonnet bra,

De-badged grill,

Red tape off,

New rear bumper,

Rear shocks/springs adjusted a little ... (but looking for coilovers)

Re-trimmed door cards, seat belt tops and parcel shelf did it myself and not very well

Re-spray few interior bits gloss black,

CD Player (crap one but it will do for now.. still gotta try n fit my dashboard speakers, i have to have it at like 60 to be able to hear the music lol)

and ofcourse cleaned, polished, wheels scrubbed (abit) blackened bumpers :) etc.

Next to do..

fix bracket on clear lamp fogs,

sort the leak from the sunhatch and foot well,

change the fuel filter,

find out why its driving pants!!!

sort blow in the exhaust.

coilovers,

band my steels :p

looks good some nice little touches here and there. Id get the arch trims back on though and get the bonnet bra off..thats just my opinion i hate bonnet bras...fuuuuucking shiiit..the interior in purple looks surprisingly ok though ha ha especially on a black car! well done keepup the good work.
