My Saloon at Gti Inters

Pimps hard, does look a little overkill though. It looks to me like once you've got the front end down enough for the wheels to fill the arches your front end will be scraping the ground like there's no tomorrow! Maybe get it on some wide 14's and raise the rear a bit? Look forward to seeing it once you've sorted the stance

Keep it up son, one of my fave cars on here!

I diddnt say it was perfect i just implied it stuck to the road like a fucker :) It is a joy to drive to be fair mate . The Phil J Kits are cheap yes however i havnt found a problem with them at all .

I think it will look good on a set of 14"s but i like the way it sits on the 13"s its still got 20/15mm to go on the front with extended bumpstops mate yes the sump will be close to cats eyes but for a killer stance thats the way its always going to be . Agh

People wernt coming over to look at the clubstand because of my car mate there were some lovely polo's on show at inters i think we had a really respectable stand to be fair even with the lack of initial organisation . Everyones car starts off with a comedy ride height ect you just have to work on them for time .. Its the fun in modifying the changes the car undergoes .. I ove the colour fo yours though mate :)

Loons are sweets hope my loons looks this good after it's finsihed

Phil J shocks and springs with a different oil in them?! Does this really make the perfect handling polo?

wow... does this mean I should bin my KW Variant 1's? Do I have to remove my H&R ARB too? What about my polybushed wishbones? Do they have to go in favour for standard mk2 items?

bold claims lad... make sure you've got evidence to back them up!

Ahh eat my own words right there  Diddn tthink i worded it that way .. Its seams to handle pretty dam well in comparison to other vehicles so I'm a happy chap :)

Iff i had the £ top buy such items the car would undoubtly handle better yes the claim is mearly that it handles pretty damn well for what it is suprisingly well infact .

i reckon my tdi mk6 golf could probably out handle you... independant rear suspension, brand new pirelli's, actual proper wishbones on the front!

yes but as the guy said, such handling costs! i don't know about him but i know that i defanately won't be able to afford anything other than PhillJ as it is i paid £30 for my lowering springs!!

and besides he never said that he could out handle the superior stuff!

Bring on the flowers and the peace!

i reckon your golf could probably take corners faster than the top speed of a 1.0 polo

Fair enough mate, but you said you liked driving it hard, and driving hard + low enough to scrape over cats eyes does not mix!

It maywell do i havnt driven a Mk6 Golf or been a passanger in one but cars have come on alot so i would like to asume it will handle rather well .. Wallowy suspension may be a factor in it but i am not out to prove a point at all .. At the end of the day my car feels very sticky and seams to go were i point it so I'm not complaining .

Polomon

Why the personal vendeta against myself and my car at the end of the day iff you have constructive critism go ahead but really come on a "plate of fail" You seam to wallow about on the site negativly commenting and picking things out of other peoples cars .. At the end of the day i see you only as a keyboard warrier .. I understand you will of heard alot of bad things about me through some other people but you are unaware that i actually am i really down to earth nice guy face to face you would almost certainly like me to be fair .. These things you have heard are from we must be talking a year ago almost and i was a diffrent guy for a very distinct reason which we are not going into . You know yourself i am sure ..

Understandable yes however it is a price to pay for getting that unbeleiveble stance .

Iff i want to drive fast in the future i will have to wait until the next hillclimb as when the second MGF is finnished the older one will be mine :)

MG = Rover in a tracksuit.... wouldn't get too excited, you'll only be disappointed!

Rear arches are too low and droopy for me

I think if they were styled like the fronts then it would be sweet 8-)

Colour looks fresh though

saw you yesturday at ricoh, was looking good, sell me your wheels

is it me or have the arches got completely different angles on them? rear point much much more downwards than the front.

PS arent phil j kits gas shocks? even if they were oil, they'd be sealed units!?!?!

Very nice work on the arches fella 8-) Fill em with something like this ...

It like it, it's just a shame you're a prick. Which is exactly what I told the people I was with at Inters

Are you going to be putting a different engine in it at some point?

 straight and too the point

Pimp Arch Pic

Like Zombies old car on steroids. Mk1 Rolf arches pimp hard.

Stevie how do you open up philJ shocks? Got a set in the shed where one of the seals is pooped and if there is a way to open it then I can fix them.

You need some insane wide banded steels and the suspension set up properly. Those cats look lost in the arches now and going lower won't fix that. Looks clean though. 8-)

Seriously though no one should ever go on about how good a 1 litre polo drives like when ragged and what it keeps up with. They are shit and underpowered and not for racing about in. A VTS couldn't get away from you?? Did the person driving it have no right leg??

Sort the wheels and the lower the front a touch and get the GT engine fitted.

1.0 litre + low = Cruising low and slow pimp ride

1.0 litre + low = Cruising low and slow pimp ride

This man talks sense.

there no need to go fast when you look pimping
