Hi guys,

I dont know if you guys know but i am a keen photographer and do my fair share of weddings and events such as proms and portraits etc and have photos showcased in a New york themed resteraunt in Palm Beach, Florida, so I have built up a high level of experience over the last couple of years.

However I am looking into more ways to raise a bit of dosh to allow me to upgrade my kit, (I'm looking at getting a canon 5d mk2) i currently run a nikon d70s which is a great camera and it has always done me proud when shooting pretty much anything!

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a mobile photoshoot service in the south west area? and what would people be willing to pay for such services?

Also I am looking at shooting car shows too, mainly vw probs because thats what i enjoy but i was thinking of leaving a card in the windscreen of the cars giving the owner a link to the photos which they can then purchase either in digital or photos form. WOuld this appeal to any guys and girls on here? and again what would you think would be a fair price to charge for this service?

if I'm honest mate i didnt read anything you wrote there, i just looked at the pictures and have saved every one of them for wallpapers 8)

theres tooo many photographers on many different forums who dont charge for their services at shows etc so i wouldnt see anybody paying for pics like that

i think private photoshoot sessions could generate abit of dosh, provided you can produce some KILLER shots

those photos are sooo ill, if you got some nice ones of mine which can be blown up pretty big & depending on the price, i would happily pay some money as your putting it back into your photography. iv always struggled to find a nice photo of mine taken at a show so it would be great

Yeah i know what you mean mate about the show side of things, i had a feeling that would be the general feeling.

as for the private photshotos yeah they would have to be KILLER shots, i have lighting kits and generators and so on so i can pretty much do it anywhere of your choice, i have been studying magazine shoots and I'm really feeling the urban/warehouse/dockland/motorway bridges themes! lol

I know how you feel about not being able to get a good shot of your car, i had the same problem with mine yet when its other peoples i seem to get really good ones!! but then my car isnt really modified that much except coilies lol and few little bits and bobs! lol

Shame about the gti fest being this sunday!! I'm going on holiday tonight, but i would of come along and got some of your car mate! its also a good excuse for me to go to as many shows as possible this year! lol

as for blowing pictures up i have had pictures blown up pretty dam big before and they look v good! i am looking for the best supplier of large prints at the moment at the best price but just trying to get an idea what people would be willing to spend on photos of their car if any lol

alrite alex, the lupo is one of my favs of the day i think was such a nice car just had to take a pic! lol

your in peasdown arnt you? local as foook! lol if you ever want anything done photo wise give me a shout, i come past peasedown nearly every day! could do it a bit cheaper as travel isnt much of an issue!
