I've just fixed the same problem. Change your storks by the steering wheel first if you haven't already.

I replaced motor and relay, but storks were culprit!

it was the relay in my case!

iv just changed the storks as my old ones were only useing screen wash and not wipers so iv change them and they will work somtimes but blow a fuse most of the time.

if the storks are at falt is there anyway of checking? but they did work on my mates car before i took them off

could it be a relay? which one is the wiper one?

Relay 19 is the front wipers. Try it on another mk2/3 to see if it still fully works.

Does your intermittant setting work? This was the first thing to go on mine before before the 10 amp fuse pops.

I'm not sure i will go and see if i have a spare relay and i will report back

just put a differant 19 relay in and an 8a fuse and the wipers didnt even work this time just blow the fuse
