want to take the strips off the doors and the polo badge off the back,

i have an idea on how to do this,

hairdryer till the glue melts then take off but how do you get rid of the stuck glue on the car?

would white spirit on an old rag work?

Go to halfords and get some bug and tar remover, that will take most of it off, then just use petrol for any tough bits. Then a good polish and all should be reet!

i first took the badge off using fishing wire then i just spent about 10 - 15mins taking the sitcky stuff off with my nail, took so long because i bite them though, not easy, then just scrubbed it clean, came out pucker, and cost sod all. very effective lol

not to sure about the sidestrips as I'm still yet to do this, but i got paintwork issues underneath so will have to spend more money than i would like doing it..

has anyone used white spirit before?

I took mine off just yesterday, I simply prized them off with my fingers and picked at the glue with my finger (although i waited until i was done to cut my nails) nails. I used some DW 40 to get the remaining residue off, washed the tailgate and polished it, not a bad result.

just did it and happy with the result

i did it similiar to you guinesstj, but used a hairdryer to melt it,

then my fingers then WD40 :)

and now all we need is PICS!
