What companys will insure a G40 for a day?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am now ready to purchase a G40 but really dont feel like driving one home without insurance so I'm interested in finding out if anyone has any experience on trying to get a G40 insured for just a day? Any ideas?

I'm 20 if it makes any difference as i know some companys prefer only 21+ or 25+

What other opitions do i have if i cant get daily insurance?

Thanks, Any help is greatly appricated

Leon

they seem to have changed the rules for short term insurance so for most of them you have to be over 24, alot of places wont cater for vehicles over 10 years old

speaking to your insurers might be a good bet, they used to be able to do temp policys for a week to a month, when i used to get insured on me mams car

i get day insurance with brentachre or used to with norwich union but had to be over 21 mate

try tempcover.

Not sure if it's .co.uk or .com

insure it anywhere, then cancel the policy within the 14 day contract cooling off period and most places will only charge and admin fee, if not nothing!!!

i spoke to my current insurers when i wanted cover on the bready. They added it as a temporary measure for 14days and hardly charged me.

You won't find anywhere that will cover you for the day, I was in the same position last year, had to get the oldman to drive it, probably easier doing that tbh, Starting/cancelling policies etc is always hassle!
